Pino Zamorano upset everybody in the Galician derby between Deportivo and Celta on Saturday, but most of all the locals after David Silva appeared to score the opening goal with his elbow, and then Arizmendi had a penalty appeal turned down. Celta coach Fernando Vázquez was still not happy despite the decisions going in his favour, and after protesting several times that too many fouls were given against his side he was sent off to sit in the stands. Ayza Gámez was not the most popular man in Málaga either, especially after he awarded a controversial penalty to Racing after the ball hit Fernando Sanz on the arm whilst he was on the ground which sealed the Andalusians' relegation to the second division.
