Wow, what a start! We were tricked into thinking it was going to be a quiet season when Pérez Burrull didn't show any cards at all in the opening game of the Spanish Sup Cup. But then Undiano Mallenco sent off Real Madrid's Pepe in the second leg, and when day one opened there were seven reds! Last season's white stick winner Velasco Carballo is our early leader though after producing nine yellows and a red in the Basque derby between Athletic Bilbao and Osasuna. (27.08.07)
