White Stick Awards

Who is going to take our White Stick award this year? Undiano Mallenco tops our chart right now after he drew the short straw to officiate in the local derby between Betis and Sevilla. It seems the spirit of Antonio Puerta is already forgotten as the two rivals brawled their way through the match, and Undiano was forced to wield the whip and pull out eight yellow cards and two reds. He will not be in action next weekend though, and only Iturralde González features out of our top three. Unfortunately his trusty sidekick Rafa Guerrero will not be able to join him in San Moix for his last appearance before hanging up his flag as he is registered as being from Zaragoza (although as avid readers of this section will know, he is actually from a distant planet far, far away).....
