Rubinos Pérez moves well clear at the top of our chart this week after showing ten yellow cards and three reds in the bottom of the table clash between Xerez and Villarreal. Rubinos upset the Villarreal players when he failed to spot that Carlos Calvo blocked a Diego López clearance with his hand late on, an incident which led to Xerez's winning goal and subsequently red cards for Gonzalo and Pires. According to the referee's report, the French international called him an "hijo de puta" after the final whistle, and although Pires claimed his Spanish was not up to that "level of sophistication", he will still have to serve out a one match ban.
