Pérez Burrull rockets up our charts after showing no less than 17 yellow cards in the two matches he officiated this week, the cup tie between Barcelona and Sevilla, and the league fixture between Málaga and Athletic Bilbao. His performance in the Nou Camp in particular brought criticism from both sides, incorrectly disallowing goals by Bojan and Diego Capel and awarding a penalty to the visitors when Chygrynskiy's foul on Capel was outside of the area (albeit that the winger kept going in to the penalty box before falling). His late penalty award in the second game which allowed Athletic to level the scores was correct though, and he was given 7/10 by the sports commentators. (12.01.10)
