Pep Guardiola got on the wrong side of referee Clos Gómez when he shouted down the fourth referee's microphone "you're giving all your decisions the wrong way round!". Clos heard the remark and reacted by sending off the Barcelona coach, but then proceeded to prove Guardiola right by awarding a penalty in favour of his side for a foul on Ibrahimovic which should probably have gone the other way! Early in the second half though the referee produced a second red card, this time to Ibrahimovic for an incident with Cisma which seemed to be six of one and half a dozen of the other. It all works out in the wash we suppose, and in the end points were shared. The following day Teixeira Vitienes upset Atlético Madrid by letting off some hard tackles by Zaragoza players, particularly on Reyes, who took matters in to his own hands and got a red card for his pains. Teixeira did start dishing out cards later on, but his criteria for doing so wasn't very clear. (09.03.10)
