Spanish referees went to the courts yesterday to ask for their share of television rights. The men in black (or is it yellow nowadays?) are claiming that they have as much rights as players and clubs to a share of the "cake", and if they don't get what they want they have asked the judge to suspend television transmissions, or at least to order the television companies to blot out their images (that might prove a bit tricky, even in this highly developed technological world!). In any case the judge's decision is expected in about ten days' time. (16.04.10)
