Two or three penalty claims
turned down for possible hand ball (Zurutuza - Real Sociedad against Real
Madrid; Fernando - Málaga against Sevilla etc), but possibly the least
clear of all was actually given when Ramírez Domínguez pointed to
the spot after Trézéguet's cross hit David Navarro's elbow at
point blank range. Ramírez further upset the Valencia camp when he sent
Navarro off a few minutes later for a second yellow card when the defender and
Hércules midfielder Aguilar went for a 50/50 ball. Elsewhere Zaragoza
are still wondering why González González ruled out an excellent
strike by Gabi which would have given them the lead against Racing, and Levante
felt hard done by after Rubinos Pérez failed to spot a hand ball by
Angel in the build up to the second goal by Villarreal's Nilmar. (22.09.10)
