Espanyol added another name
to their ever growing list of "personas en negro non grata", Clos Gómez.
The referee awarded a controversial penalty to their opponents Real Madrid when
Cristiano Ronaldo's free kick hit Luis García's arm as he sheltered his
face in the defensive wall. And after sending off Pepe for a second bookable
offence, he then sent off Galán less than minute later with a straight
red for a tackle on Ronaldo, ending with another red for Forlín later
on. It didn't all go Madrid's way though, as Clos could have given another
penalty earlier on when the ball hit Galán on the arm, and let Duscher
off a possible red card when he split Higuaín's lip with his elbow late
in the game. (25.09.10) |
