Nothing major on the
refereeing front this weekend, although Levante were unhappy that Delgado
Ferreiro didn't cancel out Sporting's equaliser for a previous foul by Barral
on Nano. Paradas Romero ruled out what looked like a good goal by Getafe's Miku
with three minutes to go in their game against Villarreal, but Getafe stuck at
it and Albín got the winner a minute or two later (then got himself sent
off for taking off his shirt when on a booking - how dumb is that?).
José Antonio Teixeira Vitienes decided that a header from
Almería's Vargas had crossed the line before Renato booted it clear (it
may have done, although pictures were not clear), and Estrada Fernández
allowed Agüero's first goal to stand against Deportivo even though he
appeared to set off from an offside position. All borderline decisions, but
that's what referees are there for! (16.12.10) |
