Not a lot to talk about on the refereeing front during the midweek round of games, except maybe a few penalty decisions and the like which didn't really affect any of the results. Xavi thought his shot had crossed the line early on in Barça's game against Getafe, but González González didn't agree and waved play on. However Barça ran out 4-0 winners, so nobody really complained. And Paradas Romero made a few questionable decisions in the match between Valencia and Rayo, letting Mathieu off a possible red card late in the second half, giving a penalty to the Ches for who knows what and disallowing a late headed goal by the locals, but again with the match finishing 4-1 it didn't seem to matter so much. More at the weekend. (13.04.12)
