Espanyol have only picked up one point all season, but they could have had a second had Clos Gómez not ruled out a strike by Verdú at Betis for a more than questionable offside. Otherwise though referees had a good weekend, and other than the usual penalty appeal there was little to talk about. (27.09.12)
