They say that some people can't tell their arse from their elbow, and that was certainly the case for one of the linesman in the match between Getafe and Osasuna! With the visitors one up and the game already in injury time, the delightfully named Francisco Lamsfús Bartolomé (assistant to José Antonio Teixeira Vitienes) signalled a penalty in favour of the locals for hand ball. However television replays clearly showed that Valera's cross had hit Oier on the "trasero", and his arms were well clear of the play. Even so Teixeira had no option but to award the spot kick, which Diego Castro gratefully converted to save a point for his side. The incident was picked up by the technical committees, and Sr. Lamsfús was discreetly removed from the refereeing line-up for Tuesday night's cup tie between Eibar and Málaga. Another one for the "fridge" - move over Muñiz Fernández, my, my, it's getting quite full in here! Pass the chilled yoghurt would you please? (18.12.12)
