Real Madrid's protests bore fruit this week, and they were well favoured when Muñiz Fernández and his assistants pulled up Valencia's Roberto Soldado three times for non-existent offsides, and also let Carvalho off a couple of penalty claims in their Tuesday night cup-tie. Valencia coach Ernesto Valverde was sent off for his protests, although he was respectful after the match and put it all down to things that happen in football. Osasuna have also been complaining about poor decisions, and they too were given a helping hand by Pérez Lasa and his team when they failed to spot that Armenteros was offside in the build up to Kike Sola's opener against fellow strugglers Deportivo. Like we said last week, "quien no llora, no mama!" (literally, "the baby who doesn't cry doesn't get the mother's milk!"). (24.01.13)
