Being awarded the Spanish cup final is a prestigious honour for a Spanish referee, but when it involves city rivals Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid you know it ain't going to be easy! Clos Gómez was the man chosen for the task this year, and all sources say that he did a good job, even though he had to show no less than fourteen yellow cards and three reds! Clos and Mourinho have a bit of a track record though, especially after the Real Madrid coach produced a list of 13 mistakes that he thought he referee had made in a game between Madrid and Sevilla a couple of years ago, and Clos appears to have had the last laugh after red-carding his arch-critic in one of his last games before moving on.
