Not too many problems with referees this weekend, although our old friend Muñiz Fernández did set a season record showing no less than thirteen yellow cards and two reds in the match between Getafe and Málaga! However that still doesn’t get him much closer to our leader José Antonio Teixeira Vitienes, who is well on track for a second “White Stick” award in a row. Incidentally, that contrasted with Teixeira’s big brother Fernando, who managed to get through the ninety minutes in the Bernabeu stadium without producing a single card, yellow, red or even purple with bright orange spots!
