Zamoras
Last year's runner up, Herrera, moves up to top spot after Alavés's 0-1 victory against Rayo Vallecano. Last week's leader Ricardo drops down a notch after letting in two against Celta, and he joins Herrera's opposite number Lopetegui and Valencia's Cañizares on minus two. Other than Herrera's, there were four more clean sheets, with Villarreal's López Vallejo and Bilbao's Lafuente keeping out all comers in a goal-less draw, Mora putting on a splendid display to help Espanyol to their second win of the league season, and Mallorca's Leo Franco helping to deflate Barcelona's bubble as they won 2-0. Our favourite keeper Asper lost his place with the sacking of Javier Clemente, but his replacement Alberto didn't do much better, letting in four against Real Madrid. Maybe it wasn't all the Swedish keeper's fault after all? (29.10.00)
