Zamoras
Herrera moves clear at the top after his team's 4-0 victory against Oviedo. With his team mate Javi Moreno the top scorer in the Spanish league as well, Alavés are flying high. Cañizares and Lopetegui let in a goal each, par for the course, but Ricardo and particulary Molina lost a bit of ground letting in two and three respectively. Mora, Juanmi and Pinto kept clean sheets to move up the table, as did Arnau and Leo Franco, who are not in the table having not played enough games. Leo Franco in particularly is doing well, having only let in two goals in five games, and Mallorca's revival coincided with him taking over from the injured Roa. The Argentinian keeper is to undergo surgery on his shoulder next week, and if it is as bad as they think, he may have to give up his place to Mono Burgos, who is still on Mallorca's payroll even though there was no room for him in the 25 man squad.
