All first division managers
kept faith with the keepers who started in the first match of the season,
although with the transfer market still open for another seven days there could
be some changes by next weekend. Tenerife for example are looking to sign
Atlético Madrid's transfer listed keeper Toni, and Osasuna may make a
change after Unzué let in six goals in his first two games. Kike however
has proved to the Alavés management that they don't have to look
elsewhere for someone to wear the number one shirt, and he heads our table
together with Cavallero and Molina, all three of whom have yet to let in a
goal. Clean sheets too this week from Villarreal's López Vallejo, and
also from two keepers who let in three in their first game, Leo Franco from
Mallorca and Prats from Betis. Leo Franco played as a non-EU national for this
match after delays from the Italian and Argentinian authorities in confirming
his Italian passport. After his match winning display against Bilbao, Bernd
Krauss will do whatever it takes to make room for him.
