A few
more goals this week, but goalkeepers are still coming out on top, with no less
than ten having let in one goal a game or less. With Kike being hit for three,
Celta's Cavallero heads the table by himself this week with four clean sheets
out of four (five if you count the UEFA cup tie midweek). Knowing Barcelona's
reputation for a shaky defence, their new keeper Bonano is surprisingly in
second equal place having only let in two penalties in their first four league
games. Have they finally found the answer to their problems? He is level with
Nacho González, who have only seen two goals scored in their last three
games. Clean sheets too this week for López Vallejo and Betis keeper
Prats, who comes in to the table for the first time this week, and also for
Osasuna's Unzué and Málaga's Contreras. Mallorca's Leo Franco
became the first casualty of the league, having to be replaced by Miki at half
time after picking up an injury. Spare a thought too for Espanyol's
Argensó. He has been asking for a chance to prove himself and so Paco
Flores drafted him in to the side....to play away against Real Madrid! Although
he didn't have a bad match, he could do little to stop the 'manita' that the
league champions put past him. Maybe he'll keep his mouth shut in the future?
