Some
movements this week on the goalkeeping front, with López Vallejo closing
up on Bonano after keeping out second placed Alavés. Bonano let in a
couple as Barcelona fell to Bilbao at home. Clean sheets too for Iker Casillas
and Sergio Aragoneses, as well as Sevilla's Notario and Real Sociedad's
Alberto. Notario comes back in to our table in place of Molina, who was hit for
four by Mallorca. Two others let in four goals as well, new Spanish
international keeper Ricardo (for the second time in consecutive away matches)
and Espanyol's Mora, who kept his place despite the return of Argensó
after a one match ban. One injury to report, to Málaga's Contreras, who
was replaced by Rafa with half an hour to go. If Contreras can't make it next
week, Rafa will be disputing his side's number one shirt with Arnau, who was
signed from Barcelona in the summer but who has yet to make his debut for his
new team. Valencia's Cañizares made his comeback after missing almost
two months with a broken rib, much to the disgust of his teammate Palop, who
feels he has been hard done by after some good performances in the absence of
Spain's first choice keeper. (26.11.01) |
