Nacho González stays
top of the table in a relatively high scoring week, with 29 goals in the ten
weekend matches. González is getting a bit of a reputation as a
goalscorer having converted two penalties this season, and this week he scored
as well. Unfortunately though it was in his own net, mispunching Djalminha's
corner under pressure from Víctor. The own goal cost his team the match
as they lost 1-0 to Deportivo, who's keeper Molina is hovering just outside the
table after keeping one of only two clean sheets this week. The other came from
Mallorca's Carlos Roa, who returned to the league side for the first time this
season in place of Leo Franco. Despite not playing Franco sneaks back in to the
table together with Málaga's Contreras as both Lafuente and
Láinez were hit for big scores. (21.01.02) |
