Zamoras

The goals this week were well spread out, and only one keeper managed to keep a clean sheet. That was Rayo's Etxeberria, who dyed his hair a light blond colour for the game. Maybe the opposing forwards were put off by the smell of peroxide. Otherwise everyone let in at least one goal, with the current leader Toni Prats being beaten twice as Tenerife fight for survival. Only one goalkeeping change this week, Barcelona's under-21 international Reina taking over from Bonano, who was carried off wearing a neck brace after crashing into Olisadebe in the midweek Champions League game with Panathinaikos. The good news is that the injury was not as bad as first thought and he should be fit soon. Reina's predecessor in the under-21 squad Aranzubia kept his place at Bilbao and let in two more, but at least that was better than Lafuente. Incidentally, Reina's understudy in the youth squad is his own team mate Víctor Valdés, although he is currently playing for Barça B and the out of favour Dutruel was on the bench for this game.
