A good weekend for
goalkeepers, with a record low number of goals against and no less than eight
clean sheets. One of those was for Valencia's Cañizares, who moves back
into top spot ahead of Celta's Cavallero. Three players enter our chart for the
first time this week having completed their sixth appearances, including
Deportivo's Juanmi, who faced off against Real Madrid's Casillas in their
scoreless draw.
Mono Burgos entertained
Atlético's home crowd with some spectacular goalkeeping, and Racing's
Ceballos put in a magnificent performance against Barcelona, even though he was
beaten in the end by Fernando Navarro. The four others to keep their records
intact were Dutruel (Alavés), Prats (Betis), Westerveld (Real Sociedad)
and Recreativo's César, who helped his side to their first win of the
season. (05.11.02). |
