A more normal week this
time, with 28 goals in the ten league games. Our leader Notario let in his
first goals in five games, but his side still won to close in on the European
spots. He is now level though with Cañizares, who let in one less at the
weekend. Five clean sheets in all, including Arnau and Prats in the scoreless
draw between Málaga and Betis. Arnau substituted for the suspended
Contreras, and was making his first start since joining from Barcelona two
years ago. No goals either in the derby game between Segura's Rayo Vallecano
and Esteban's Atlético Madrid, and Iker Casillas rounded off a good
weekend for the Madrid based keepers with his third clean sheet in a row in all
competitions. (25.03.03) |
