Another weekend that the
number ones would rather forget, in particular those of Spain's two biggest
clubs, Real Madrid and Barcelona. Both Casillas and Bonano let in four goals,
which we are sure statisticians could confirm has probably never happened
before in their 100 year or so history. Only four clean sheets this time round,
one of which was by three times Zamora Cañizares, who moves level with
Notario after another magnificent performance helped his ten-man side to a win.
Celta's Cavallero is slowly creeping up on the leaders though, and he is now
only two away after his third clean sheet in four games. Celta have not let in
more than one in the league for 13 games now. Málaga's Contreras is once
more in line for a club record after he strung together four games without
reply, the second time he has done so this season (he did get sent off and miss
a game in between though). And Luque makes it in to our chart for the first
time this season (as does Atlético's Esteban) after his side beat
Alavés 1-0, taking their unbeaten run to seven games. (16.04.03)
