Zamoras

Not such a good week for our "porteros", with an average of three goals a game over the ten fixtures. although there were six clean sheets in all: Aranzubia (Athletic), Contreras (Betis), Sanzol (Osasuna), Cañizares (Valencia), Lainez (Zaragoza) and Westerveld (Real Sociedad), who enters our chart for the first time this season. Sanzol and Cañizares join Molina in first place. Poor old Bizzarri is out though, probably never to return, after being hit for seven by the galactic superstars of Real Madrid. Meanwhile Samuel Eto'o added to his curriculum with a couple of minutes between the sticks after Leo Franco was sent off with all three substitutions made. He shouldn't change his day job just yet though, judging by the way he reacted (or didn't) to Etxeberría's penalty kick. (15.09.03)
