Zamoras

Cañizares has seen his lead whittled away over the last few weeks, and after letting in two more this weekend he has been caught in the table by Molina and Sanzol. Both kept clean sheets this weekend in their sides' respective 0-0 draws against Contreras's Betis and Calatayud's Málaga, with the Depor keeper becoming the first player to save a penalty from Fernando into the bargain. The three are followed in the table by Lainez, who didn't play this weekend, and then by the three young keepers who will be vying for the third goalkeeping spot in Spain's Euro 2004 squad this summer, Aranzubia, Víctor Valdés and Reina. Aranzubia was another who kept his goals against column to zero, as did Mallorca's Leo Franco and Espanyol's Toni in their teams' single goal victories against Real Sociedad and Sevilla respectively.
