A new leader again after the
midweek round of matches, Osasuna's Sanzol moving into top spot after his
side's late 0-1 win at Espanyol takes them back into the dizzy heights of the
Champions' League spots. Sanzol's form is one of the reasons the team are
riding so high, and he moves above Molina and Cañizares in what is
increasingly looking like a three horse race for the Zamora title.
Six clean sheets in all this
time around, with Cañizares finally stopping the rot after letting in
two in each of the three previous matches, Valencia coming away from
Westerveld's Real Sociedad with a well earned 0-0 draw. Casillas moves up to
fourth in table after Real Madrid won the capital derby 2-0, and Leo Franco
(Mallorca) and Esteban (Sevilla) both kept their goals against column to zero
as their sides recorded valuable away wins. (05.12.03) |
