The third highest number of
goals this weekend, with only four keepers managing to keep clean sheets.
Molina finally stopped the rot after three disastrous weeks, and he
consolidates third spot behind Cañizares and Sanzol. Víctor
Valdés (Barcelona), Almunia (Albacete) and Arnau (Málaga) were
the other three to keep their goals against column to zero. There were some big
scores though, with Leo Franco (Mallorca) letting in five and Cavallero
(Celta), Ricardo (Racing) and Casillas (Real Madrid) all being hit for four.
Madrid's defence was once more being questioned, and they have not had a clean
sheet in the league now since week 18, some eleven games ago. (22.03.04)
