Zamoras

No less than eight teams kept their goals against column to zero in the second lowest goalscoring weekend of the season. There were goal-less draws between Kameni's Espanyol and Reina's Villarreal, and between Molina's Deportivo and Albacete, where visiting keeper Valbuena broke his wrist in an accidental clash with Valerón. Belgium's Ronnie Gaspercic substituted, making his first appearance since moving from Betis. Iker Casillas moved to within a point of the leaders with his fifth clean sheet of the season, and Riesgo, Mora and Luis García helped Real Sociedad, Levante and Zaragoza to respective wins. No such luck though for Juanma, who was making his debut for Numancia, the ex Atlético keeper letting in two goals against Riesgo's side. (01.11.04)
