Belgium's Ronnie Gaspercic substituted, making his first appearance since moving from Betis. Iker Casillas moved to within a point of the leaders with his fifth clean sheet of the season, and Riesgo, Mora and Luis García helped Real Sociedad, Levante and Zaragoza to respective wins.
