Doblas and Esteban both improved their positions as they kept their goals against columns to zero, and Sánchez Broto kept out new signing Sergio Aragoneses again with another fine display for Getafe. Elsewhere Málaga's Arnau kept his second clean sheet in a row since returning to the side, and there was a scare for Valencia keeper Cañizares, who limped off in the second half against Villarreal with a damaged toe, doctors later confirming that it was just badly bruised.
