Zamoras

Keepers got hit again this weekend, making it 70 goals against in the last two weeks. Esteban and Riesgo were the worse off, both letting in four whilst their respective counterparts Víctor Valdés and Reina kept clean sheets at the other end. It was a third in a row for the Barcelona keeper, who moves further ahead at the top of our chart as a result. As it happened only one other keeper managed to remain unbeaten, Zaragoza's Luis García contributing to his side's narrow victory over Málaga, for whom Arnau let in a goal for the first time since taking over between the sticks from Calatayud three weeks ago. Elsewhere Deportivo's Munúa played his first league match this season, replacing Molina who was suffering from lumbago. And Sánchez Broto makes his first appearance in our table this campaign after completing his thirteenth game, albeit with more pain than glory. (31.01.05)
