With the obvious exception
of poor old Elía from Osasuna (who got hit for six by Málaga),
the goals were fairly evenly spread out this weekend. Although only nineteen
were scored in the other eight games (Athletic v Getafe was postponed), there
were only three clean sheets. Munúa's was perhaps the most notable as
Deportivo beat Real Madrid 2-0, but Leo Franco got back on track after letting
in three last week, and Luis García made it in to our chart after his
second clean sheet in a row. Only one goalkeeping change, Valencia's new
manager Antonio López recalling Cañizares after outgoing coach
Claudio Ranieri had favoured Palop in the last two league matches. (28.02.05)
