Last season's Zamora
Víctor Valdés is back on top of the chart, sharing the lead with
Deportivo's Molina after both kept their second clean sheets in a row. They are
the only ones though after a higher scoring second weekend produced 24 goals,
eight more than the opening day's record low. Only two other keepers managed to
clean sheets on day two, Cádiz's Armando and Betis's Doblas, who
recovered from the injury he picked up a fortnight ago to play. Zaragoza's
César was injured this weekend and had to give up his place to Valbuena,
who very nearly left the club in the summer. And two more goalkeeping changes
as well, Elía getting a run out at Osasuna and new signing Viera taking
over from Barbosa at Villarreal. (12.09.05) |
