Zamoras

Andrés Palop heads up our chart this week after a third clean sheet in a row, this time against the club he played for last season, Valencia. Palop was applauded off the field by the home fans after a performance which helped his side to a 0-2 win over their rivals. Málaga's Arnau also had a brilliant game against his old side Barcelona, but it was Víctor Valdés and his team who came away with the spoils after a late 2-0 win. All in all there were five clean sheets for our "porteros" in the rescheduled midweek round of matches, with Palop and Valdés joined by Leo Franco (Atlético), Riesgo (Real Sociedad) and Prats (Mallorca), all of whom were on the winning side in their respective matches.
