Sevilla keeper Andrés
Palop takes a big lead in our chart with another clean sheet in the local derby
against Betis, even though his side ended a bad tempered match with nine men.
It was another low scoring weekend though, with the opening two games setting
the scene with goal-less draws between Barbosa's Villarreal and César's
Zaragoza, and between leaders Osasuna (with Ricardo in goal) and revelation
side Getafe, for whom Calatayud made his league debut in place of Luis
García. There were ten clean sheets in all though, with Barcelona's
Víctor Valdés's the highest profile without doubt in his side's
0-3 win over Real Madrid. Costanza helped Alavés to obtain their first
ever points after ten visits to the neighbouring San Mamés stadium, and
Molina, Kameni and Cañizares were also on the right side of their teams'
respective victories. (21.11.05) |
