Zamoras

No changes to the Zamora rankings after the midweek round of games, with eight of our top nine keepers letting in one goal. Only Palop improved his position after a clean sheet at Atlético, and that after taking a beer can on the back of his head for his pains (see white stick section for more on that story). Cañizares still tops the chart though, and he proved once again that he is the man on form with a late penalty save from Villarreal's Riquelme (although he was upstaged this time by Leo Franco, who saved two). Other than Palop's there were four more clean sheets, for Ricardo (Osasuna), Prats (Mallorca), Contreras (Betis) and Bonano (Alavés). (24.03.06)
