The goal feast in the
Mestalla stadium had it's effect on the Zamora's chart this weekend, with
leader Cañizares being beaten three times by a Cádiz side who
hitherto had scored the lowest number of goals in the league this season.
Celta's Pinto caught up with Cañi after his clean sheet in the
Calderón stadium, and with Valdés and Casillas just behind it
looks like being a four horse race for the goalkeeping prize.
It was a bit of a strange
weekend though, with nine clean sheets despite the 26 goals. There were two
score-less draws, in the local derby between Alavés (where Costanzo
returned in place of Bonano) and Athletic Bilbao (Lafuente), and between
Mallorca (Prats) and Espanyol (Gorka). And the others to keep their goals
against column to zero were Molina (Deportivo), Luis García (Getafe),
Riesgo (Real Sociedad) and Viera (Villarreal). (03.04.06) |
