Cañizares and Pinto
opened a gap over the rest after both recorded clean sheets this weekend.
Cañi's was his third in a row and Pinto's was his second, and they were
joined by Leo Franco, Ricardo, Espanyol's Gorka and Real Sociedad's Riesgo, who
has now only let in one goal in four games since Bakero took over as caretaker
coach. Other than that there were three goalkeeping changes, with Ricardo
returning for Osasuna in place of Elía, Viera coming back for Borbosa at
Villarreal, and Doblas getting a run out for a few minutes for Betis after
Contreras was sent off. (24.04.06) |
