It would be easier this
weekend to list the keepers who let in goals after the lowest scoring round of
matches since the league was increased to 20 teams. No less than 13 clean
sheets, as per the following list: Aranzubia (Athletic), Pichu
(Atlético), Valdés (Barcelona), Aouate (Deportivo), Kameni
(Espanyol), Abbondanzieri (Getafe), Molina (Levante), Casillas (Real Madrid),
López Vallejo (Recreativo), Palop (Sevilla), Cañizares
(Valencia), Viera (Villarreal) and César (Zaragoza). Elsewhere Bravo
entered our chart for the first time after reaching the required number of
games, Doblas returned from injury to replace Contreras at Betis, and Osasuna's
David López made his debut in a goalkeeper's shirt after Ricardo was
sent off with all three changes made. (22.01.07) |
