bad weekend for keepers,
the 35 goals the highest tally of the season to date. Even Pato Abbondanzieri
let in two at home for the first time in the current campaign, and Real
Sociedad's Bravo was the only keeper to maintain a clean sheet in the first
nine games. The last match of the weekend between Osasuna and Sevilla ended 0-0
though, with Ricardo and Cobeño (making his first start in place of the
injured Palop) at least fighting back for La Liga's number ones. Some fresh
blood at last in our chart, Doblas and Viera both eligible after completing
their 18th games. Athletic's Aranzubia would have joined them too had he not
let in five in the incredible 5-4 scoreline at Racing Santander. (02.04.07)
