Zamoras

Barcelona's 1-0 win over Getafe meant that Víctor Valdés moved clear of Pato Abbondanzieri at the top of the table. And Leo Franco's timely return helped his side to an important 0-2 win over Nàstic, keeping him level with Valdés in first place. It was not a particularly high scoring weekend compared to the last two, but only three other keepers managed clean sheets as well as the two leaders, including Aranzubia (Athletic), Ricardo (Osasuna), and Gorka Iraizoz (Espanyol), who made his first appearance in the league this season after replacing the injured Kameni. Three other goalkeeping changes this weekend as well, Pinto returning for Esteban at Celta, Calatayud being preferred over Toño at Racing, and Cavallero taking over from the suspended Molina at Levante.
