Zamoras

Racing's Toño continues at the top of our chart for another week after his side's 1-0 win over Valencia. His performances have contributed to the Cantabrians' seventh spot in the league table despite only scoring eleven goals in thirteen games. Only Víctor Valdés is anywhere near him after Barcelona's 3-0 win against Recreativo, and the top two were the only keepers to record clean sheets in what was the highest scoring weekend to date this season. Elsewhere there were three goalkeeping changes, Aranzubia replacing the injured Iraizoz at Athletic Bilbao, and Cañizares and Butelle returning from injury to take over from Hildebrand and Alberto at Valencia and Valladolid respectively.
