Zamoras

Is it going to be a two horse race this year? Valdés and Casillas top our chart this week going in to next weekend's big "derby" game, both keeping clean sheets in their respective wins against Valencia and Osasuna.

It was a low scoring weekend all round though, with Kameni also keeping his goals against column to zero in Espanyol's win over Levante, and no less than three matches ending without goals, Mallorca v Athletic (Lux / Aranzubia), Recreativo v Atlético (Sorrentino / Abbiati) and Valladolid v Sevilla (Sergio Asenjo / De Sanctis).

De Sanctis was making his first start after replacing the injured Palop last week, and Betis B team keeper Casto also made his Liga debut, coming in for the injured Ricardo and Doblas. Almería's Cobeño was sent off in that match midway through the first half, allowing Diego Alves to make his second appearance this season. (17.12.07)
