Is Iker Casillas ever going to let another goal in? The Real Madrid keeper's performance against neighbours Atlético reached new heights, and the last one that was scored against him in the league dates back to 1st December, seven games ago. Even the man himself now wants to let one in just to stop people talking about it, although we are sure he would like Van the man or another of his colleagues to get a couple first!

Casillas's was one of five clean sheets this weekend, but as Víctor Valdés was also one of them the Barça keeper still tops the chart. Elsewhere Diego Alves (Almería), Ricardo (Osasuna) and Diego López (who came in for Viera at Villarreal) also kept their goals against column to zero. Elsewhere Moyà returned in place of Lux at Mallorca, and Kike Casilla made his debut for Espanyol, coming on for the injured Lafuente. Kameni remember is away at the African Nations Cup, and Espanyol are considering whether to make an emergency signing as Lafuente is likely to be out for six weeks or so.

Finally an update on the situation at Deportivo (see last week's report), where Aouate and Munúa have still not reconciled their differences. Aouate's suspension has been revoked by the club though (although he is still not back at training), and the case is going through the criminal courts, with Munúa facing a possible fine for his physical attack on his team mate.
