Zamoras

Almería's Diego Alves set a new best for the season after keeping his sixth clean sheet in a row. The Brazilian goalkeeper has now gone 617 minutes since letting in a goal, passing the previous best set by Casillas a few weeks ago. Alves was one of only four keepers not to let a goal in this weekend, and he was joined by Hildebrand (Valencia), Diego López (Villarreal), and Toño (Racing), who was making his first appearance after a month long injury. Kameni also returned to the Espanyol side after missing the last five matches due to his participation in the Africa Nations Cup, but he picked the wrong day to come back, letting in four against the on-form Sevilla.
