Once again the goals were concentrated in a couple of matches this weekend, with Recreativo's Riesgo letting in four against a rampant Atlético, and poor old Sergio Sánchez being hit for a "set" by Barcelona. The Sporting keeper has now let in twelve goals in three games, and that's before a midweek visit to the Bernabeu!

Otherwise though nine keepers kept their goals against column to zero, with scoreless draws in the local derby between Casto's Betis and Palop's Sevilla, and in the fixture between Aranzubia's Deportivo and Moyà's Mallorca. Casto moves joint top of our chart together with Kameni, who let in his first goal this weekend. Clean sheets as well for Diego Alves (Almería), Iraizoz (Athletic Bilbao), coupet (Atlético Madrid), Casillas (Real Madrid) and Renan (Valencia). (22.09.08)
