Yet another high scoring
weekend, the fourth in a row with more than 32 goals. Barcelona go from
strength to strength, and Víctor Valdés tops our chart this week
after his fourth clean sheet in five games. Valdés's only real rival at
the moment is Palop (the man who probably kept him out of Euro 2008), and the
Sevilla keeper is level with him after his side beat Getafe 0-2.
Other than that though there
were only two other clean sheets, Iraizoz for Athletic Bilbao in their derby
match against Osasuna, and Asenjo for Valladolid against Real Madrid, a relief
for the young man after the six he let in last weekend in the Nou Camp.
A mention as well for
"Pichu" Cuéllar, who qualifies for our rankings after his seventh game
for Sporting Gijón. The ex Atlético Madrid keeper has helped his
team steady the ship after they let in 19 in the first four games without him.
