Clean sheets for the top three, Valdés, Palop and Casillas, this week, as well as for Toño and Almería's Esteban, who was playing his first league game this season in place of the indisposed Diego Alves. It was an incident packed weekend though for goalkeepers, with no less than three leaving the field before full time. Mallorca's Aouate had to go off with an injury, Lux coming on to replace him, and Getafe's Jacobo and Betis's Ricardo were both sent off for second bookable offences. Ustari substituted Jacobo, but Betis had made their three changes and defender Melli took over for Numancia's last second penalty. Elsewhere Sergio Asenjo returned in the Valladolid goal, replacing Justo Villar after a long injury lay-off. (06.04.09)
